The integrated WPS operates in both motor and generator modes, depending on the excess or shortfall of generated wind energy relative to load demand. There are various topologies [ 6, 7, 8] for wind energy conversion system. There are four types of system configurations for wind energy conversion systems namely, type-1, type-2, type-3 and type-4.
