An Internet of Things implementation designed for monitoring solar PV plants comprises three main components: data collection, a data gateway, and a display integrated into a smartphone app.
Through photovoltaic monitoring, we can detect faults in the system in time and repair them, thereby avoiding long system downtime and affecting power generation efficiency. In addition, monitoring technology can also help us prevent potential failures and take measures in advance to ensure the stable operation of the system. b.
The accuracy of the data collection achieved was impressive, with an average data transmission time of 53.02 s to the smartphone application in graphical form. These results strongly suggest the effectiveness of the proposed monitoring approach, supporting both local and remote monitoring of a solar PV system.
